Signal Hill Lookout Tours

See the City From Above.

Signal Hill rises above Dunedin's northern suburbs, and its lookout gives one of the best panoramas of the city, Otago Harbour and the Otago Peninsula. Our tours stop at Signal Hill or nearby Unity Park, depending on the day, so you can see how Dunedin fits into its harbour and hills.

Panoramic Views

Look out over the city centre, the length of Otago Harbour and the hills of the Otago Peninsula.

Get Your Bearings

Your guide points out the places you'll visit through the day, which makes the rest of the tour easy to picture.

A Short Stop

On our tours this is typically a stop of around 15 to 20 minutes, weather permitting.

Bring a Layer

Lookouts can be breezy and cooler than the city below, so a warm layer is a good idea.

Two Ways to Visit With Us

Dunedin Shore Excursion. Our shared shore excursion for cruise passengers, about six hours, collects you from the Port Chalmers Cruise Ship Terminal or the Cruise Ship Wharf in central Dunedin, from NZ$264 per adult.

Private Excursion. Any day of the year: your own vehicle and local guide, booked by the hour, picking you up from your hotel, the airport or any Dunedin address.
